We mostly associate hair loss in women with cancer patients, but for Karen things were a little different. Karen suffered from Lupus. Lupus is an auto immune disease that attacks the tissues and organs inside your body. People that suffer from lupus will experience “flare ups” which occur when signs and symptoms get worse for a period of time.
